We are inspired by two conceptions regarding the effort to reduce carbon emissions and broadly achieve
sustainability:
- Adopting meaningful pro-environmental changes in behavior and business practice does not
necessarily require significant expense or effort. Widespread change is hindered by this assumption. - Efforts to promote conservation behavior and preserve natural resources can be more effective, reaching
audiences that have not been engaged in this area before. Strategies informed by a better understanding of
human behavior and the specific target audiences can improve success and durability of behavioral
interventions.
